Since this recipe was published a few years ago, a number of people have discovered it and decided to give it a try, claiming to be extremely satisfied with the results achieved from regular consumption of bulletproof coffee.

People who consume or have consumed bulletproof coffee claim that it has a number of benefits, including:

  • maintaining energy levels throughout the day
  • preventing hunger
  • improving mental focus

Because bulletproof coffee is a relatively new product, no scientific study has yet been conducted to tell us whether it is beneficial or detrimental to health.

There are four steps to making bulletproof coffee:

  • Using freshly ground coffee beans, brew 1 cup of coffee using a French press.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, which is usually derived from coconut oil.
  • Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of cow butter or a similar alternative.
  • Blend in a blender for 20 to 30 seconds.

Drinking coffee in moderation has a number of health benefits and can reduce the risk of death due to heart disease and several types of cancer.
